a grouping of Gourds by Vivian Helena.Vivian Helena Aumond Capone is an accomplished photographer, watercolorist and quilter.  Vivian was born in Jackson, Mississippi, and has traveled most of her life, visiting Baghdad, Holland, England, Italy, Greece and Mexico, and attending schools in the South of France, Australia, and the United States. From these travels she has learned to be flexible, and always keeps a keen sense of humor about life.

Small quilt by Vivian Helena Vivian was encouraged by her family to pursue art, theater and music, and she graduated from college with a degree in interior design. When her business, De-cor-Aum Interiors, took time away from her fine arts, she began to photograph her travels in the belief that that there is no second chance with life¹s dramas, and that with photography, it’s that split second that counts.

Over the years she has studied with Roger Armstrong, Gerald Brommer, Joyce Pike and Ning Yeh.  Vivian Helena has exhibited in numerous juried shows and won awards with the Associated Photographers International, Jewel Court, and Costa Mesa Art League. Her award winning paintings and photographs are in corporate and private collections throughout the world.
